Success in Saxony-Anhalt – ZIEGLER receives order for 25 vehicles
Albert Ziegler GmbH has secured a major contract to supply 25 new firefighting vehicles to the state of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, following a successful tender issued by the Saxony-Anhalt Central Services Police Inspectorate in March 2025.
The delivery, set for completion by January 2027, includes:
10 LF 10 Pumpers
10 HLF 10 Pumpers
4 LF 20 Pumpers
1 LF 20 Disaster Response Pumper
These vehicles will be distributed across local fire departments throughout Saxony-Anhalt.
Strengthening Long-Term Partnerships
This latest order follows a previous delivery of nine Equipment Vehicle Hazardous Materials (GW-G) units, reinforcing Saxony-Anhalt’s ongoing trust in Ziegler’s firefighting technology. Ziegler’s advanced ALPAS aluminum modular system and Z-Control user interface are key factors in the continued collaboration, offering improved operational performance in high-pressure emergency situations.
High-Tech Solutions for Diverse Emergencies
The newly commissioned vehicles, based on the MAN TGM chassis, are configured to support enhanced technical assistance, fire suppression, and disaster response operations. Ziegler emphasized that each configuration meets the complex demands faced by modern fire services across Saxony-Anhalt.
The continued partnership between Ziegler and Saxony-Anhalt highlights the importance of reliable, advanced emergency vehicles in regional fire safety planning. The new fleet will enhance capabilities for local fire departments, enabling quicker, safer, and more efficient emergency response across the region. This collaboration also reaffirms Ziegler’s position as a leading provider of innovative firefighting technology in Europe.
“We would like to thank the state of Saxony-Anhalt for the trust they have placed in us and look forward to continuing our successful collaboration,” said Marcus Kulick, Area Sales Manager at Albert Ziegler GmbH.
“This award once again confirms the high quality and reliability of our vehicles, as well as the close partnership with local fire departments.”
