ZIEGLER Firefighting Vehicles: Langenselbold Gets HLF & TLF
Ready for Action: ZIEGLER Delivers HLF 20 and TLF 4000 to Langenselbold Fire Department
The Langenselbold Fire Department has boosted its operational readiness with the delivery of two new ZIEGLER firefighting vehicles: an HLF 20 and a TLF 4000. These state-of-the-art vehicles, designed with the latest ZIEGLER technology, are built to meet the highest standards of firefighting and rescue operations. With the combination of the robust ALPAS superstructure and the intelligent Z-Control operating system, the vehicles ensure maximum efficiency and reliability, even in the most extreme conditions.
HLF 20 – Versatility for Every Application
The HLF 20 is built on a MAN TGM 13.320 4×4 chassis with 320 HP and a gross vehicle weight of 16 tons. It provides the power and stability required for challenging operations while offering space for a crew of 1+8 (including PA mount in the passenger seat). The vehicle is equipped with a 1,600-liter water tank and a ZIEGLER FPN 10-2000-1H centrifugal fire pump, ensuring high-performance firefighting capabilities.
Additional features include the Bird-View 360° camera system, Z-Vision LED lighting elements, and a powerful winch with a 50 kN pulling force. Together, these systems enhance operational safety, visibility, and flexibility during emergency response.
TLF 4000 – Maximum Extinguishing Capacity
Alongside the HLF 20, the TLF 4000 was also handed over. Built on a MAN TGM 18.320 4×4 chassis with 320 HP, the TLF 4000 features a 5,500-liter water tank and an additional 500 liters of foam concentrate, providing sufficient extinguishing capacity for large-scale firefighting operations, even in rough terrain.
The vehicle includes a ZIEGLER FPN 10-3000-1H pump, Foam System 24 proportioning system, pneumatic light mast, and an ALCO turret with foldable fall protection. Like the HLF 20, it integrates the standardized pump control panel (SPBF), the Z-Vision lighting concept, and the PUSH hygiene board for operational safety and efficiency.
Supporting Firefighters with Advanced Technology
With these two vehicles, the Langenselbold Fire Department has significantly improved its firefighting capabilities. Both the HLF 20 and TLF 4000 are designed for durability, versatility, and ease of use, ensuring that firefighters can respond effectively to a wide range of emergencies.
