ZIEGLER delivers Z6 to the International Airport of Košice in Slovakia
The airport firefighting vehicle was built on a TITAN 6×6 chassis T39-770 6×6 and is equipped with a 770 HP Scania V8 engine. The engine with Stage V emission level exceeds the current emission regulations by far.
The innovative and stepless transmission by Kessler completes the driveline concept and brings this high performance actually on the road. As a result, the vehicle achieves acceleration values from 0 to 80 km/h in less than 30 seconds.
Equipped with the new roof turret, the ZT-8000 with an output of 8,000 l/min at 10 bar pressure and an ALCO front turret with an output of 2,000 l/min at 10 bar pressure, the vehicle can dispense either water or foam.

In addition, it is possible to apply dry powder via the front turret. With a 12,500 liter water tank, a 1,500 liter foam tank and 250 kg of extinguishing powder, the vehicle guarantees concentrated extinguishing power on the airfield.
The FPN 10-8000-1M is perfectly designed to supply the turrets, the quick intervention system and the self-protection system with the required quantity of extinguishing agent.
The driver’s cab (Z-Cab AiR) is certified according to crash test ECE R 29-3 and thus offers the best possible crew protection. The vehicle can be handled and controlled using the latest generation of the intuitive Z-Control operating concept.
