Cleaning firefighting PPE with a Solo Rescue machine is quick and easy. After a call out, self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), face masks, boots, gloves and helmets, can be decontaminated within minutes, helping to keep everyone in the fire station safe from toxic soot particles.
The entire cleaning process is carried out inside the machine, minimising exposure for staff. The Solo Rescue’s lower door folds down to act as a convenient table, where the basket can be loaded without heavy lifting.
Space in the standard basket is optimised by a selection of equipment holders, so that various PPE combinations can be washed together depending on need. Each wash cycle can swiftly clean two complete sets of SCBA, six stand-alone air cylinders, eight face masks, three helmets, three pairs of boots, eight pairs of gloves, or a combination of the above.
The easy-to-use control panel lets you choose between a rapid three-minute cycle for gloves and boots or an eight-minute cycle for SCBAs, face masks, and helmets.
The Solo Rescue boasts an innovative system which rotates the basket inside the machine, helping water to flow to the areas of equipment that are hardest to reach.
