Search Camera System for the first on-scene technical search operator
The FirstLook360 Rapid Search Kit or RSK1 was specifically engineered to provide a rapidly deployable search camera system for the first on-scene technical search operator so that they can begin working the disaster site before many of the larger rescue teams arrive.
Built around the revolutionary FirstLook360 spherical camera system, the RSK1 kit uses a unique chest pack that provides ergonomic support for operators utilizing the included 8” rugged IP68 tablet. The tablet is conveniently located in the zippered pouch close to the body and is securely attached to the pack. The operator simply unzips the pouch, folds down the front of the pack to support the tablet, connects the FL360 camera/app and the operator is ready to deploy. The chest pack also includes a molle system, radio attachment, and storage for all RSK1 accessories.
Power is provided by 4 x 3400mAh rechargeable Li-ion protected FL360 batteries and a 10,050 mAh power bank to extend the life of the tablet. This combination will provide up to 10+ hours of continuous use. For even longer operations the batteries are hot-swappable, and the kit includes a charger with vehicle adapter.
The wireless FL360 camera, when attached to the included boom extension pole, gives users a reach of 7F or just over 2M. For extended distances, a paint pole adapter is included as well as a 1” eye hook to be attached to a rope, so it can be lowered into deep vertical spaces. In addition, the FL360 camera and included boom extension pole are incredibly light so probing void spaces with one hand while searching on the tablet with the other doesn’t cause muscle fatigue. You add wireless functionality, and the operator can traverse the disaster scene safer.
The RSK1 was designed for first on-scene technical search or rescue operators and can be used small rescue squads, medical specialists, recon teams, canine handlers, US FEMA type 2 (medium) & type 3 (light) teams, INSARAG Type 2 & 3, DART, Military response teams and Civil Defense.
“For many years, only large organizations with big budgets could afford search cameras on their rigs. We listened to what our customers had to say; they wanted a rescue camera system that is easy to use, multipurpose, rugged, and transportable without breaking the bank… and that is EXACTLY what you get with a RSK1… simple as that” said Andy Ibbetson – Director of Product Development at Agility Technologies. RSK1 is a perfect combination for an agile rescue team looking to add speed to search and an affordable search camera tool for their equipment cache.
