The annual AFAC23 powered by INTERSCHUTZ is the largest exhibition of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere and is taking place 22-25 August at Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. The exhibition component of the program runs for three days and is free for all that register to enable everyone the opportunity to see and experience the very best that the emergency management industry has to offer.

There are over 80 000 full-time emergency workers in Australia providing crucial care to vulnerable people in urgent need. The latest equipment, technology and services designed to serve and protect people, communities, and the environment and on display at AFAC23 has the potential to significantly enhance their work and the ease at which they carry it out.

The Exhibition: AFAC23 will feature the most comprehensive range of emergency management with exhibiting organisations occupying 15,000sqm of gross floorspace including a strong contingent of international exhibitors from a range of countries.

Solutions Theatre: The exhibition will also feature a comprehensive Solutions Theatre program with practical presentations aimed at helping those at the frontline of emergency management. Topics  include: Innovations and new technologies, community, resilience, residential energy storage and safety, effective communications in emergencies, leveraging of data to optimise deployment and response, flood intelligence for emergency managers, effective asset management, emergency management through the lens of satellite imagery, PPE reducing your exposure to contaminants, plus much more.

Demonstration Zone: This area features the latest equipment, technology and best practices displayed across the two days of the exhibition.  These include accident extrication simulation, UAV, Deployable Resilience Communication, Boston Dynamics Robotic Dog Spot and much more.

AIDR Knowledge Centre: Within the exhibition is a central hub of learning and networking, including the popular poster displays. This is the place to meet other practitioners, researchers and connect with conference speakers. The Knowledge Centre is proudly sponsored by the Australian Institute for Disaster Resilience (AIDR).
