The National Fire Protection Association® (NFPA®) will host the annual NFPA Conference & Expo® at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida on June 17–20, 2024. This year will once again bring together thousands of leading safety professionals, who will attend more than 120 educational sessions, explore the latest products and services from our exhibitors, and participate in many special events.
“We are excited to welcome the huge community of fire, electrical, and life safety professionals back to a live C&E,” said Jim Pauley, NFPA CEO and president. “Not only are the programmatic lineup and exhibits more valuable in person, but attendees learn so much from each other being in the same place.”
NFPA will be offering two new registrations this year. Spotlight on LATNAM is a Spanish language program encompassing eight comprehensive sessions of the most compelling and current industry issues impacting Latin America with continuing education units CEUs) available to attendees. And the other new registration for 2024 is the Florida Residents Conference & Expo Pass that allows Florida residents to take full advantage of both the annual conference and expo at a discounted rate.
Educational sessions will address the latest issues, challenges, and opportunities for today’s fire, electrical, and life safety practitioners, including the NFPA Fire & Life Safety Ecosystem™; code compliance; emergency preparedness and response; emerging technologies; global issues; public education; building and life safety and construction; fire protection systems; industrial hazards; electrical safety; and much more.
In addition, the NFPA Spotlight on Public Education (SOPE) will be held on June 17-19, covering a wide range of public education issues, such as fire and fall prevention among older adults; youth fire-setting education and intervention; and community risk reduction (CRR), to name a few.
This year’s expo will feature more than 350 exhibitors showcasing the latest technology, products, and services needed to help comply with prevailing codes and standards for design, construction, and operation of the built environment. The NFPA booth will present its latest initiatives, programs, and resources, including a dedicated area for live NFPA LiNK® demonstrations that highlight the full capabilities of dynamic, digital access to NFPA codes and standards and related material.
The NFPA booth will also host areas for NFPA Membership, Training, Standards, Certification, Research, Public Education, the NFPA Challenge, and the Sparky the Fire Dog® Photo Booth. There will also be NFPA Products and Solutions education sessions, which are open to all attendees. Here, attendees will learn about various NFPA products and solutions that can help them solve their current safety issues.
