Javelin Fire Nozzle supplied by Delta Fire
The Javelin Fire Nozzle is principally designed for professional Fire Services use but is equally suited to a wide range of sectors thanks to its versatility and ease of functionality.
The Javelin Fire Nozzle has been in Delta’s range for more than 20 years and was the result of close collaboration with professional fire fighters and reacting to feedback from front-line personnel. Ever popular with UK and International Fire Services over the years the Javelin brings together all the well-known attributes of a slide valve automatic nozzle with the addition of stainless steel spinning turbine teeth that chops the water-stream into small droplets allowing the fog pattern to hang in the air longer enabling highly effective cooling and firefighter protection acting as a heat shield.
Providing a combination of automatic pressure and flow control the Javelin is truly effortless when operating with high pressure hose reels. The hydrostatically assisted stainless steel slide valve enables ease of open and shut-off even at 40 bar pressures making it the perfect choice for ‘pulsing’ techniques when cooling hot gasses. The Javelin stabilises varying pressures to give constant tip pressure maximizing water use without the need for constant adjustment.
Whilst most commonly used for high pressure hosereel use, the Javelin is also available in a range of low pressure mainline models when fitted with any low pressure International inlet adaptors.
