International conference program discusses future of civil protection
CPNetCon powered by INTERSCHUTZ, which will take place for the first time in Hannover from 23 – 24 November 2023, serves as a central platform for knowledge transfer and network promotion in the field of civil protection.
The program of CPNetCon powered by INTERSCHUTZ is structured around six focus topics, which are designed by renowned organisations.
Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe will present the topic of “Leadership 4.0”, while the German Red Cross will address the area of emergency care. The limits of digitalisation in the context of contemporary hazard prevention will be highlighted by the vfdb e.V..
The German Fire Brigades Association shares its expertise on the topics of volunteerism in civil protection and forest and vegetation firefighting. The German Federal Agency for Technical Relief covers the topic of civil protection in Europe.
In addition to the discourse on important topics in the field of civil protection, CPNetCon powered by INTERSCHUTZ also places a special focus on networking. A highlight is therefore the CPNETCon Networking Night, which is included in the participation fee and takes place on the evening of 23 November. Here, participants have the opportunity to get to know each other in an informal atmosphere, to engage in direct exchange and to make new contacts.
The international approach and the relevance of CPNetCon powered by INTERSCHUTZ are underlined by the intensive commitment of the European Union: The “Union Civil Protection Knowledge Network” (UCPKN) of the European Commission is not only taking over the patronage of the event, but the “European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations” is also organizing three lectures in the conference program. Exciting topics such as the cross-border handling of civil protection issues will be discussed.
