FORCE WP
Waterproof, cut-resistant glove for technical rescue operations
Guaranteed dry hands in wet weather conditions. High cut resistance, mechanical protection, precise dexterity and comfort. Flexible back-of-hand protector. With short cuff and smart touch functionality on all fingers. Certified according to EN 388 and EN 407.
The cut-resistant and waterproof FORCE WP technical rescue glove was developed for professional users who demand maximum protection, control and reliable performance. Whether during road traffic accidents and vehicle extrications, rescue and recovery missions, technical rescue operations, severe weather deployments, door openings, flood operations or work with hydraulic rescue tools such as cutters and spreaders – the FORCE WP provides reliable protection and precise handling even under the most demanding conditions. The ideal choice when high cut resistance, reliable mechanical protection, outstanding comfort, precise dexterity and waterproofness are equally important.
The integrated waterproof barrier ensures dry hands – not only in rain and wet weather, but also during contact with liquids or clean-up work after flooding. In such situations, water is often contaminated with dirt, mud, oil, chemicals or germs, making reliable protection particularly important.
A wind- and water-repellent stretch polyester with TPU lamination is used on the back of the hand, combining freedom of movement with durability. The palm is made from high-quality, abrasion-resistant Amara synthetic leather. The robust material combines high resistance with excellent tactile sensitivity and grip. Even on smooth, wet or dirty surfaces, it provides a secure grip – a decisive advantage during operations where tools and equipment must be handled safely. The high abrasion resistance makes the glove especially durable and resilient. At the same time, the touch technology enables unrestricted operation of tablets and smartphones with touchscreens – with all fingers and the thumb – without having to remove the glove.
The cut-resistant inner lining made of para-aramid with integrated glass fibers reliably protects the hands against cuts from sharp edges, pointed objects, splinters and broken glass. Despite the high level of protection, the glove remains comfortable to wear and provides a balanced climate, preventing excessive sweating. Thanks to a special manufacturing technology, the cut protection lining is permanently bonded and securely fixed inside the glove, preventing it from being pulled out or displaced.
The palm has been tested according to EN 407:2020 for contact heat performance level 1 and offers short-term protection when handling hot surfaces or heated objects such as exhaust systems, heated vehicle parts or hot metal components.
The TPU protector provides extensive protection for the back of the hand. Thanks to its ergonomic and anatomically adapted design, it offers a high level of flexibility and comfort even during extreme movements. The protector reliably absorbs impact, shock and collision forces and is certified according to EN 388:2016 (ISO 13594). In technical rescue operations, the hands are exposed to enormous stress. Working in confined spaces, using hydraulic rescue tools or handling deformed vehicle parts, sharp metal edges and tools can quickly result in severe impacts or collisions. The forces generated are effectively absorbed, while sensitive areas such as the back of the hand, knuckles and fingers are reliably protected against injury. At the same time, the protector also guards against cuts, abrasions and mechanical stress. Unlike many conventional constructions, the protector is not only glued but also securely stitched. This ensures a permanent fixation, exceptional durability and reliably prevents detachment during intensive use.
The short, close-fitting cuff with hook-and-loop closure on the palm side allows individual width adjustment and ensures a secure and optimal fit on the wrist. The tight wrist closure reliably reduces the penetration of foreign objects such as glass splinters, debris or dirt. The cuff length was deliberately designed to end below the wrist joint, ensuring maximum freedom of movement. The flexible stretch gusset allows comfortable entry, even for wider wrists.
The stress zone in the thumb crotch is reinforced with highly abrasion-resistant material to provide additional protection in this heavily stressed area. The reinforcement serves both as seam protection and abrasion protection, reduces premature wear and significantly increases the durability of the glove.
The anatomically layered 3D cut follows the natural position of the hand and adapts to its natural posture. This guarantees an optimal fit and maximum freedom of movement.
The integrated donning aid enables quick and comfortable putting on. The loops are extremely tear-resistant and permanently stitched. They not only serve as a practical donning aid but also allow the gloves to be attached to operational clothing using a carabiner. A standard carabiner is included.
The FORCE WP is available in black (005) and yellow (011).
Standard sizes (Regular Fit): 5 (XXS) – 12 (XXXL).
