Flowmaster 250 Supplied by Delta Fire
Delta Fire’s range of water delivery equipment includes the Flowmaster 250 range of hydrant flow and pressure test instruments. These units are deigned to assist the Fire and Rescue Services, Water Companies an Industrial users with accurate flow and pressure measurement.
The Flowmaster 250 is used to determine which hydrants are working, the flow rate from the hydrant and the water main capacity helping to locate leaks and obstructions.
Measuring instantaneous flow rates of up to 3000 litres per minute and pressures up to 25 bar the Flowmaster is simply attached to the hydrant, switched on and flow and pressure will be measured.
The Flowmaster 250 can be purchased in a digital format (as pictured) with a data logger allowing for complete data analysis and storage via the flash memory (no data is lost when switched off). The internal data logger will log both flow and pressure and has a ‘start/stop’ recording facility via a push button or automatic recording of flow events when trigger conditions are established.
The 64Kb storage capacity will provide 6 hours of data storage when the sampling rate is one second and 360 hours when the sampling rate is one minute. A date/time stamp is added to each new log file.
A mini USB cable is supplied for PC connection and, when connected, will provide ‘live views’ of both flows and pressures. A highly visual graph is automatically generated of the log data and a report can be sent directly to the printer or saved in .bmp format for transfer to MS Word or Excel programs.
