Hannay F Series Reels Set Standard for Firefighting Industry
For decades, Hannay Reels has set the standard of quality and reliability for fire hose reels in the firefighting industry. Through research and development, Hannay “F Series” firefighting reels continue to meet the specific fire fighting equipment needs of fire departments with internationally recognized standard models and to custom one-of-a-kind applications.
All F Series booster hose models are designed to handle single ¾-inch I.D. or 1-inch I.D. hose, handle pressures to 1000 psi (69 bar) and temperatures from -60 to +250 degrees Fahrenheit (-51 to +121 degrees Celsius).
Hannay’s F Series Booster Hose is ideal when a compact reel or booster hose is needed. Both series are available with direct crank rewind (supplied with cam-lock break) or chain-and-sprocket drive powered by electric, hydraulic or a compressed air motor.
The standard F Series Booster Hose reel is a dependable, rugged reel designed for booster hose. Its strong, heavy-duty steel construction allows for efficient handling of longer lengths of hose. The “Super Booster” (aluminum construction) weighs up to 30 percent less than a standard booster reel. Stainless steel construction is also available. Standard features include a gear-driven crank rewind and a pinion brake. A chain-and-sprocket drive powered by electric, hydraulic or compressed air motor is an available option. The SF Series reel, designed for booster hose, features an inboard mounted motor. All models are available in optional aluminum or stainless steel construction.
The F7100 and F7200 series are dual-agent reels for foam application and are able to handle hose diameters from ¾-inch I.D. to 1 ½-inch I.D., with all the standard features and options of the F series Hannay Reels.
