Successful presentation and award at the Austrian Design Talks at Hollenegg Castle
As part of the Austrian Design Talks 2024 at Schloss Hollenegg, we had the honour of presenting our Zeus PBI 5F firefighting glove to an expert audience. This annual event is an important meeting for designers and companies to discuss the latest trends and developments in the field of design.
Our firefighting glove, developed in collaboration with industrial designer Tino Valentinitsch, was at the centre of an exciting discussion. The Zeus PBI 5F not only impresses with its functionality, but also with its design, which serves as a model for the entire ESKA Professional range. At the presentation at Schloss Hollenegg, we were able to share the story behind this product and emphasise the importance of design in safety-critical areas.
But that’s not all: our innovative glove also won the State Prize for Design 2024, beating off competition from over 218 submitted projects to win an award in the ‘Capital Goods’ category. This recognition is proof of the excellent collaboration between our team and Tino Valentinitsch, who made a significant contribution to the development.
The State Prize for Design is one of the most important awards for product design in Austria and honours innovative, sustainable products that offer both economic and social added value. We are very proud that our firefighting glove fulfils and even exceeds these standards.
Our participation in the design talks at Schloss Hollenegg and the award at the State Prize for Design 2024 underline our passion for innovation and our commitment to developing well thought-out and forward-looking products that make a difference in practice.
