Many fire stations are short of space, so a streamlined solution works better for their decontamination area. RESCUE Intellitech’s DeconWasher Pro S offers the same excellent cleaning results as the original Solo Rescue machine, but is more compact in size.
Cleaning firefighting PPE with a DeconWasher Pro S machine is quick and easy. After a call out, self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), face masks, boots, gloves and helmets, can be decontaminated within minutes, helping to keep everyone in the fire station safe from toxic soot particles.
The entire cleaning process is carried out inside the machine, minimising exposure for staff. The lower door of the DeconWasher folds down to act as a convenient table, where the basket can be loaded without heavy lifting.
Space in the standard basket is optimised by a selection of equipment holders, so that various PPE combinations can be washed together depending on need. Each wash cycle can swiftly clean either a complete set of SCBA, two stand-alone air cylinders, four face masks, four helmets, two pairs of boots, four pairs of gloves, or a combination of the above.
The smart design uses rotating wash arms and high water flow to thoroughly clean and rinse dirty kit, removing harmful soot particles and residue.
Easy-to-use, the machine has a simple and intuitive touch screen display for selecting wash programmes, adjusting the temperature and detergent concentration, receiving water change notifications, and more.
The DeconWasher Pro S also features an ECO-mode, to lower the temperature in the wash tank between washes and conserve energy.
