FDIC International is the leading annual event for fire and rescue professionals from around the world.

The FDIC is North America’s leading Fire & Rescue Event and is set to take place from the 15th to the 20th of April, 2024, in Indianapolis, IN. The venue will be at the Indiana Convention Center & Lucas Oil Stadium.

FDIC offers world-class hands-on training, workshops, and education from renowned instructors. The exhibit hall boasts over 800 exhibitors showcasing the most innovative products and services. The FDIC experience is more than your traditional trade show it’s about celebrating camaraderie and coming together to learn and share experiences with peers from around the world. There is no other event like FDIC International and to experience it, you simply have to attend.

The FDIC will be attended by thousands of Fire & Rescue professionals from around the world, quality world-class instructors, classrooms, workshops, H.O.T. Evolutions, and the most innovative products and services available to the industry.

The 8th International Tall Building/High Rise Conference will make its US debut April 15-17, 2024 alongside FDIC International in Indianapolis, Indiana.


LOS Experience – Thursday, April 18 – Saturday, April 20

The immersive experience in Lucas Oil Stadium is at the core of FDIC’s critical mission ‘to train’ fire and EMS professionals worldwide. The experience is broken out into activations, carefully designed to deconstruct live-action scenarios to enhance firefighter and EMS professionals’ skills and prepare them for the future.

From cutting-edge equipment to state-of-the-art devices, attendees will have access to the best resources at their fingertips.

Firefighter Challenge – Tuesday, April 16 – Friday, April 19

Register now to compete in the most exciting fire-themed sporting event of its kind, the TFT® Firefighter Challenge Championship Series. Choose from one of five categories: Individual, Tandem, Fire Dept. Relay, Hybrid Relay, or Fire Dept. Showdown. Firefighters under the age of 40 who are competing in the Individual Category will be placed into one of three divisions based on their final run time. Come see what everyone is talking about as members of the SERVPRO® FCL: Firefighter Challenge League, enter the LION® Arena of the Brave to showcase the strength and readiness of the global fire service.

The HEAT Competition -Thursday, April 18 – Saturday, April 20

The HEAT is a multi-vendor, multi-track exhibition please join us and prepare to be impressed by cutting-edge apparatus and equipment, heart-pumping emergency scenarios, thrilling firefights, and lifelike training props that will leave you in awe. With so much excitement on offer, you won’t want to miss a moment of this thrilling adventure.

Women in Fire Conference – April 15, 2024

Women in Fire returns to host their annual networking event and Leadership Conference alongside FDIC International. The evening before kicks off with time for networking, followed by a full-day conference lineup of educational classes that provide training, support, and advocacy for women in the fire service.

8th International Tall Building/High Rise Conference – April 15-17, 2024

The 8th International Tall Building/High Rise Conference will make its U.S. debut alongside FDIC International. The event, recognized by the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE), will bring delegates together with speakers from around the world for three days to provide valuable insights into best practices, tall building fire safety innovation, and relevant high-fire safety issues.

Aircraft Fire & Rescue Summit – April 16-17, 2024

The Aircraft Rescue & Fire Fighting Working Group (ARFFWG) is a non-profit membership organization established to promote science and improve the methods of aviation fire protection and prevention. For the first time, they are partnering with FDIC International to host a co-located 2-day summit focused on training and education for departments that serve regional airports or port cities that may be involved with any type of aircraft-related emergency event.
