Colombia opts for LEADER USAR response equipment

LEADER Provides Denmark Fire Fighting Training

In May 2015 the National Government of Colombia made a historic investment of 9.3 million euros in Firefighting, Emergency and Search & Rescue equipment to equip fire stations throughout the country by purchasing LEADER USAR equipment.

On this occasion, the National Government of Colombia acquired many LEADER USAR response units including:

– LEADER Scan – Ultra-sensitive UWB movement sensor
– LEADER Hasty – Wireless seismic detector & search camera
– LEADER Sentry – Movement sensor for monitoring stability

These materials will be supplied to fire brigades and Search & Rescue teams in the following cities: Bogota, Medellin, Villavicencio, Santa Marta, Leticia, Cartagena, Neiva, Pasto, Mocoa, Pereira, Ibague, Barranquilla, Manizales, Popayan and Quibdo.
