Review Blue Light Mile 2019
On 15 June 2020, the helpers and rescuers from the Hannover Fire Brigade, aid organizations and private rescue service providers, plus THW and DLRG presented the Blue Light Mile in downtown Hannover. Nearly 300 helpers offered technology highlights on the approximately 600-meter long event mile from Kröpcke Square to Steintor Plaza, and of course had also been sparking interest among next-generation professionals.
The program for the Blue Light Mile in the Show Arena at Kröpcke Square includes not only demonstrations of fundamental first-aid measures, but also instructions for laypersons on how to resuscitate a person using a defibrillator or how to handle yourself in emergency situations, for example in the event of a house fire.
Youngsters from Hannover’s Youth Fire Brigade will be demonstrating their capabilities, as will rescue dogs specialized in finding missing or injured persons. Those taking the stage at Kröpcke Square will rotate every 30 minutes.

INTERSCHUTZ covers the full range of products and services for the fire and rescue services, civil protection, safety and security industries.
