BIO T is a synthetic foam designed for training purposes, not for extinguishing. Components are selected for their foaming property and fast drainage time to collapse quickly.

This has the advantage of giving firefighting teams the opportunity of training using a single training system in the same fire pool. The rotation of teams training on this system also makes it possible for trainees to see how to apply foam concentrates and then handle them, thus giving a certain objectivity to handling fire-fighting foam concentrates in live conditions.

BIO T is an economical alternative for quality training. Ideal for training centres.

APPLICATION

BIO T extinguishes class A and class B fires. It generates light foam, allowing easy burnback for training purposes. BIO T is not suitable for firefighting operations.

BIO T is usable at low, medium and high expansion. It can be used in all kind of training situations with standard foam equipment.

BIO T versions are efficient on all hydrocarbon and polar solvent fires such as diesel, gasoline, kerosene, alcohol…

ENVIRONMENT

BIO T is harmless for the environment and totally biodegradable. It does not contain fluorosurfactants (fluorine-free).

CARACTERISTICS

  • Can be used with tap water, sea water and brackish water
  • Usable at 1%, 3% and 6% on fires
  • Usable at low, medium and high expansion.
