The Exhibition: Showcasing the Future

The AFAC24 Exhibition, held from 3rd to 5th September, will occupy over 18,000 square metres on level 4 of the ICC Sydney. This premier event will showcase the latest equipment, technologies, and services available from hundreds of national and international brands, manufacturers, and suppliers. The exhibition spans five key collaboration groups:

  • Capability: Featuring fleet, personal protective equipment (PPE), and essential tools.
  • Workforce: Highlighting work health and safety (WHS), people systems, and learning and development initiatives.
  • Community Risk Reduction: Showcasing risk mitigation strategies, warning systems, and comprehensive risk management solutions.
  • Response Operations: Presenting real-time operational decision systems, incident management tools, emerging technologies, communication solutions, drones, satellite imagery, GIS, and field deployable infrastructure.
  • Fire Safety: Focusing on building fire safety systems and standards.

Live Demonstrations and Solutions Theatre

AFAC24 will feature a Live Demonstration programme on the extensive outdoor open-air deck area adjacent to the exhibition halls. Scheduled for 4th and 5th September, these demonstrations will showcase the latest techniques, technologies, and best practices, including robotics, virtual reality firefighting equipment, and rescue simulations.

Additionally, the exhibition will host the Free-to-Attend Solutions Theatre programme, offering 20-minute educational presentations from exhibitors. These sessions aim to keep first responders informed about the latest industry developments and best practices across the five collaboration sectors.

AIDR Knowledge Centre

Centrally located in the exhibition halls, the AIDR Knowledge Centre will feature the popular Poster Display, providing attendees with the opportunity to view and discuss various research projects.
