Fluorosynthetic AFFF Foam Concentrate 3 %
BIOFILM 3S is a fluorosynthetic foam AFFF formulated exclusively on a surfactant combination.
The film-forming property AFFF gives to BIOFILM 3S an high speed of extinction on hydrocarbon fires thanks to the aqueous film which insulates the fuel surface from the air.
BIOFILM 3S can be premixed in sprinkler systems, bladder tanks…
Foaming power : BIOFILM 3S is usable at Low Expansion. This fluid foam is not contaminated on hydrocarbons and enables a forceful application.
BIOFILM 3S is usable at Medium Expansion to create a foam blanket to protect against burnback.
Corrosion : BIOFILM 3S contains an additive NITRATEFREE with a strong inhibition effect against metal corrosion.
Fuel fires : BIOFILM 3S is efficient on all hydrocarbon fires, such as diesel, kerosene, petrol...
Environment : BIOFILM 3S is totally glycol-free.
The removal of glycols gives two key advantages :
Environment : the organic mass is lowered and the potential toxicity is eliminated.
Efficiency : fuel pick-up in the foam is reduced, extinction speed is enhanced and burnback resistance is strengthened.
BIOFILM 3S is easily biodegradable.

BIOFILM 3S can be used with tap water, sea water and brackish water at 3% on hydrocarbon fires.
