Precursors in developing closed-circuit breathing apparatus, we innovate once again designing the Fenzy Biomix, a revolutionary technological concept, which combines compressed air and chemical oxygen (KO2) guaranteeing 2 hour duration for an unprecedented breathing comfort.

Developed with doctors specialized in physiology, the Fenzy Biomix has been designed to meet all the mining industry and Fire Brigade requirements. It also passed successfully the flame engulfment resistance test, which mainly imposes that the SCBA be exposed at a 1000°C temperature for 10 seconds.

Operating principle :

Thanks to the venturi effect, the exhaled gases are driven from the full face mask through two KO2 cartridges.
KO2 is a chemical product which undergoes several main reactions when in contact with exhaled humid air. It absorbs moisture and CO2.
As a result of this reaction, oxygen is generated.

The gases exiting from the KO2 cartridges go through a thermic exchanger into the breathing bag which is pressurized by the action of a spring loaded plate.

A constant flow of air coming from the air cylinder at a rate of 9 litres/minute going through a venturi device is accelerated to a speed of 90 litres/minute, which makes inhaling and exhaling easier and more comfortable for the user.
