85% of MIPS, Russia’s largest security exhibition sold

85% of the Moscow International Protection, Security and Fire Safety (MIPS) Exhibition has now been sold.  MIPS is the largest security event in Russia and Eastern Europe which attracted over 14,126 visitors, 406 participants from 43 countries in 2011. The event will take place on 24th – 27th April 2012.

For the past 18 years, MIP has become established as the meeting place for all major protection and security companies seeking to reach thousands of buyers interested in security solutions, CCTV and video surveillance, fire-fighting and safety, IT security, smartcards and banking security solutions.


Leading security companies who have confirmed their participation at MIPS next year, include Assa Abloy Sicherheitstechnik GmbH, Honeywell Life Safety Austria GmbH, Fujinon, Gielle Srl, Hikvision, Dahua, Flir Commercial Systems BV, ADT Security Solutions/Tyco Fire & Security, Acumen Russia, plus many others. National groups from Germany, China and Taiwan have also confirmed their participation at MIPS.

A new section of MIPS for 2012 is the ‘Industrial and Personal Safety (Health and Safety)’ section, due to market demands. This section will showcase the latest health and safety solutions from leaders in this field.

A comprehensive business programme will also take part of the MIPS exhibition. Key topics include:

  • Systems-based solutions for the integrated security of construction projects
  • Integrated security of shopping centres and retail security
  • Safety solutions for large sporting events
  • Integrated security for art, cultural and cinema venues
  • Safety solutions for payment systems.
