They supply a worldwide customer base including Emergency Services, Armed Forces and Humanitarian Organisations, as well as supplying OEM equipment to many international companies.

MFC Survival specialises in producing inflatable products for human and animal rescue. Products include motorised and non-motorised Rescue Sleds, Rescue Paths for water, mud and ice rescue, Recovery Lifting Systems, Rescue Stretchers, Rescue Platforms and Rapid Response Shelters.

 
Inflatables are used by the emergency services worldwide in such diverse scenarios as natural disasters, major incidents and humanitarian missions where rapid response is required. MFC Survival products have been used in earthquake disaster areas including Kobe in Japan and Mexico City, and in the aftermath of terrorist attacks such as New York 9/11 and the London Underground bombings. Much of their equipment is used for training purposes at the Fire Service Training College at Moreton-in-Marsh and Outreach Rescue in Bangor.

In addition to the inflatable devices, MFC Survival also supplies Fibre light stretchers, life jackets, drysuits, helmets, rescue sticks and water storage tanks.

MFC Survival has an experienced Research and Development team who offer a bespoke design service, and they also offer a comprehensive service and repair solution.

Since 1995 MFC Survival has held a Quality Certificate of Approval and currently holds BS EN ISO9001:200. Prior to this MFC Survival was quality approved by the Ministry of Defence to AQAP4.

MFC Survival is registered on the Ministry of Defence Contractors list and is also a member of FIRESA, the DMA and the Cardiff Chamber of Commerce.

1971 Collaboration established with Manfred Vetter selling lifting bags
1972 Manufactured two man pyramid tent for the British Antarctic Survey
1974  Developed the first heavy lift recovery system
1978 Produced the first 8 bar high pressure steel cord bags
1981 Supplied the Royal Australian Navy with lifejackets
1985 Developed the first inflatable cupola decontamination shower in the World to Tony Hughes of Hughes Safety Showers
