Profile

The Federation of British Fire Organisations (FOBFO) provides a forum for discussion and co-operation between United Kingdom fire interests, promoting activities aimed at the prevention and mitigation of loss of life and property by fire. It is therefore an “umbrella” organisation under which members can form alliances and make representations under a common banner. It is also the National Committee supporting the Comite International Technique de Prevention et D’extinction du Feu (CTIF), thus helping to promote “UK Fire” abroad in pan-European issues. In partnership with the FIC Export Focal Point and UK Trade & Investment, it continues to support UK industry at exhibitions and seminars abroad.

Future plans for FOBFO include the creation of a national Website on which up to date information on strategic issues could be published and the organisation of a number of key seminars at which the current issues of the day can be discussed.
