Fabrik Chemischer Praeparate von Dr Richard Sthamer GmbH & Co KG, has been trading since 1886 and has built up a reputation for excellence in the research, development and manufacture of Fire Fighting Foam Concentrates, since patenting in the 1920s the stabilisers which made it possible to use protein as a base for fire fighting foam. We have been at the forefront of developments in technology, developing state of the art foams, culminating with the recent the launch of our revolutionary low viscosity Moussol APS LV Alcohol Resistant Aqueous Film Forming Foams. International approvals have followed with IMO (International Maritime Organisation) certification and type approval by Third Part Classification Societies (DNV and ABS to name but two).

Resource Protection International (RPI) have also certified our Moussol APS LV 1x1 and Moussol APS 3% to the requirements of LASTfire, (Large Atmospheric Storage Tank) fire fighting.

Certain of our foams are approved to ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organisation) Level B, for use with Aircraft Crash Rescue Fire Fighting Vehicles.

Our product range includes Protein, FluoroProtein, FFFP, AR-FFFP, AFFF, AR-AFFF, LV AR-AFFF and synthetic foams for Class A, CAFs and High Expansion Foam Systems.

In close co-operation with our customers and third party test institutes, we have developed a wide range of different products in accordance with national and international standards and individual customer specifications.

Thanks to our decades of experience, we have well-founded, expert knowledge with which we help our customers solve their particular problems and provide advice when selecting a suitable fire fighting foam concentrate.
